I got a J-O-B... Hey, Hey, Hey

I know its been awhile but between moving back home, the job hunt, training for the Jax River Run, and sleeping and eating I haven't had much time for anything blog related. I come back to blogging with great news.. I got a job! I couldn't be more excited to start this new chapter in my life and I love the company I'll be starting with. Yay!

Recycle Your Memories

After recently moving and feeling the need to downsize as a result, I have stumbled across an idea I think is so freaking cute and a good use of something you might otherwise throw away. T-shirt quilts!! I have taken my old high school and college(feels weird to say college referring to the past) t-shirts and starting making them into a keepsake quilt! I love this idea and felt the need to share....
The quilts are in my opinion expensive if you have them made but I found easy to follow directions on the process from start to finish and for several different sizes. Click Here for the link if your interested

Love affair ♥

Talk about M.I.A. - It's been awhile since I last blogged. My summer has been so crazy with graduating college and summer travel plans i've slacked on my responsibilities. While i've been gone i've been a little bit of a movie buff and feel in love again with the movie "Down With Love" Its a romantic comedy set in a retro world of pomp and circumstance and I am envious! Its has inspired me to create a weekly "love affair" and blog about it... anything in my life that I love that week I will share. This is this weeks love affair..

Home Sweet Home

I have fallin in love! If after graduation I move back to Jacksonville I have always wanted to buy a house in San Marco's or Avondale's Historic district. This house is adorable; needs some work but I'm up for it, that way I can make it my home... It has all the charm of an older home and that's what I love about it. Curved arch ways, cutouts and built ins, gorgeous fireplace, and a mail slot make this a perfect charmer! I have so many ideas and it's hard to get to sleep thinkin about all the things I could do to make this MY FIRST HOME!! (hopefully)

Must Read

I realized that after finishing my last book "Mrs. Kennedy" that I needed to find a new page turner for those times I need to take my mind off the hustle and bustle that is my life right now. I browsed through Barnes and Noble and came across "The Birth Order Book". This book gives you great insights to who you are according to your birth order and why. I absolutely love this book! I have learned so much about myself as a first born female and have come to see why I'm always compared to my dad a first born male. Truly a must read!
